Intent
At Grafton Primary School, our PE curriculum aims to foster a love of exercise and healthy living while also developing a wide range of PE skills. We aim to provide excellent physical education and school sport that leads to life-long participation. Our broad and balanced PE curriculum, provides all children with the opportunities to develop the fundamental skills and competence needed to excel in a wide range of physical activities.
We follow the Complete PE scheme for our PE teaching throughout the school.

- inspires enjoyment of physical activity and a commitment to a healthy, active lifestyle
- develops an understanding of how to keep healthy and safe, including developing water safety and swimming skills

The Complete PE scheme introduces pupils to a wide range of traditional and emerging sports, including opportunities for disability sport. Children have PE lessons twice a week.
