Pre-Booking Meals
You can conveniently pre-book your child’s school meals through the School Grid system. Meals can be ordered up to three weeks in advance by logging in with your personal details. If you need to order a meal on the same day, please ensure you complete your booking before the automatic cut-off time at 8:30 am.
Meal Choices and Transparency
To assist parents and pupils in making informed choices, the online menu includes pictures of each meal, along with detailed nutritional information and allergen content. This transparency helps parents know exactly what their child will be eating and ensures that pupils receive the meal they selected, even if their class is served last.
Allergies, religious requirements, and special diets
You can update the system with any allergens and special dietary requirements to ensure your children are eating appropriate and safe meals. SchoolGrid will automatically block any meal choices that contain approved allergens for each child. The system can also manage religious and special dietary choices, enabling you to feel confident that special dietary requirements are observed.
A convenient and flexible system
Meal orders can be quickly amended or cancelled online, putting you in control and saving you time on phone calls to school. You can view and make bookings on any device, phone, tablet or computer by logging into SchoolGrid - at times that are convenient to you.
Free School Meals support
The meal selection system automatically supports Free School Meal and Universal Infant Free School Meal children, allowing you to choose meals safe in the knowledge no payment will be required.
