Message from the Senior Leadership Team

Dear Parents/Carers

We would like to welcome everyone back after our two week break. What amazing weather to start our new summer term. If the very hot weather continues could we please ask parents/carers to apply sunscreen to their children as a precaution. Unfortunately we only have a limited amount of shaded areas in our playground during break time, lunchtime and outdoor PE lessons.

We are extremely grateful for the cooperation and understanding of all the parents/carers of children who use our breakfast provision following the changes made this term. Unfortunately the national changes to the way schools are funded has put enormous financial pressure on all schools. As a school we obviously have no alternative other than to respond to the cuts and ensure we minimise the impact on all the children in our school. We are determined that we will not allow any cuts to impact on the learning recourses we provide for all our children.

We hope you make the most of the sunshine and have a great weekend.

Unpaid School Meals

Dear Parents/Carers,

We have successfully sought judgements (CCJs) against those parents that owe substantial amounts to the school, for unpaid school meals. This means that the school will no longer be carrying those debts, and will be able to use those funds appropriately.

Also, thank you to those of you that manage your child's account and keep your child's account in credit.
