|Tuesday was our second meet the teacher of the year. It was fantastic seeing so many parents/carers and having the chance to discuss your child’s progress. The conversations and links between home and school are invaluable to your child’s education so a big thank you to all those who were able to attend the evening. Our Literacy and Topic lessons this week have been closely linked, with the children conducting independent research on an area of Ancient Egyptian life. They will be using their research to write and create their own report books. In maths the children have been applying their knowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to two-step word problems. Continuing with the theme of Egyptians, the children have been choreographing and performing Egyptian style dances. Five children from each class will be performing the dance as part of our play at the end of next term.|
Dates for your diary: Thursday 7th March is world book day – letter to follow.
We hope you all have a restful half term and look forward to seeing you after the break. The Year 3 Teachers
