This week in Literacy pupils have analysed and read play scripts. They identified features of a play script and features of a story. Children read the story of ‘The Twits’ and compared it to a play script. They have also had their first attempt at writing a play script.

In Maths we have compared masses and multiples of masses in kg and g. Children converted kilograms to grams and solved mass word problems.

In Science pupils explored how a force is required to make something start to move. They used pushes, pulls and twists to make objects move in different ways. Children also drew and labelled diagrams to show the force that makes an object start to move.

In Topic, we located the states on a map of the USA.

We have also celebrated Remembrance Day to show respect and appreciation to the soldiers who fought for our freedom. Pupils made their own poppies using plastic bottles’ bottoms, tissue paper or paint and permanent markers. All the flowers were beautiful.

Have a lovely weekend and see you next week.
