Reception Newsletter 24th May
This week we enjoyed visits from lots of mums, dads and other adults from home. It was lovely to spend time looking back on all we have achieved so far this year.
We have continued to find out facts about worms. They are very interesting.
We have carried on learning number facts and finding doubles.
Our Phase Three sounds this week are ur and ow. We have read and written words with these sounds. Our HFWs are
have, like and put.
The children visited the library and picked books to borrow. Some of us choose books that we have already read in class because its always fun to reread a book we enjoyed. Some of us picked new books which we have enjoyed sharing back in class.
Next half term we will plant seeds and think about how to look after plants. Try to get out into gardens and parks this half term to look at the trees and plants that grow there. Maybe you could even plant some seeds of your own at home.
Enjoy the half term holiday. School will be open on Monday 3rd June. Please remember to read regularly with your child at home over the holiday.
