This week the children really enjoyed their school trip to Valence House Museum where they got the opportunity to learn about old and new toy. The children learnt, most old toys are made of metal or wood and new toys are commonly made of plastic. They then got the opportunity to make and name their own doll using wooden pegs, double-sided tape, felt-tip pens and fabric which they really enjoyed.

This week we have been learning about how to double an amount e.g. double 2 is 4, double 3 is 6. When teaching this we invited the children to use their fingers and object.

On Thursday the children enjoyed dressing up for world book day, talking about their favourite books, characters and their favourite place to read at home and in school.
