This week in Literacy we have continued our learning about narratives. We have created our own alternative ending to 'Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters' from Manyara's perspective. Children really enjoyed writing their own story endings and have produced some imaginative pieces of work.
In Maths, we have revisited multiplication and division. The children have worked really hard at solving word problems.
In Topic the children have looked at the different biomes of Africa. In Science, the children had lots of fun investigating the effect air resistance has upon falling objects. We created our own parachutes and tested how they fell to the ground depending on their surface area.
Can we remind parents to try and remember to bring their pantomime letters in to the office as soon as possible. Redwood and Alder classes are going on Friday 1st December; Maple and Rowan classes are going on Tuesday 5th December.
We hope that everyone has a great weekend!
