The children have completed some fantastic work this week in Year 4. In English, the children have been looking at the features of non-chronological reports and then wrote their own, on the topic of Volcanoes. It has been very interesting reading about the facts about volcanoes the children have discovered at home and it has been fantastic to see them try to incorporate these into their work.
In Maths, the children have continued with their topic on fractions. They have been learning how to add and subtract fractions with the same denominators and have started to simplify their answer where appropriate.
We would like to say a massive well done to the children as their behaviour this week has been brilliant, with several Head Teachers from others school commenting on how impressed they were.
Can we remind parents to try and return their pantomime letters in to the office as soon as possible please. 4 Ash and Hazel are going on 30th November; Elm and Oak on 13th December
We hope that everyone has a great weekend.
