In Literacy this week children composed poems using a repetitive phrasing. It was based on the story “Bill’s New Frock.” Pupils also wrote their own alternative endings to a story as well as their own book reviews. They described their favourite and the least favourite parts of the book and gave their recommendations.
In Maths, we have learnt about properties of shapes. Children identified horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines. They have also learnt about horizontal and vertical lines in 2-D shapes.
In Science pupils examined, described and compared different rocks and their properties. In Topic they have written their own fact files about Stonehenge.
Have a lovely weekend.
