In Literacy this week we have continued reading ‘Bill’s New Frock.’ Children explained the main character’s feelings and emotions using descriptive words and phrases. They also considered how feelings and emotions can be in conflict.
In Maths, we have continued learning about place value. We also went through the maths test we did last week.
In Science, pupils explored rocks and soils even further. This week we were lucky to have a visitor from the GeoBus who delivered a very interesting workshop about fossils. Pupils have learnt in a practical way how fossils are formed. They identified different types of fossils and even made their own fossils using salt dough.
It has been a short but a very productive week.
We hope you have a very relaxing long weekend.
