We have had a very busy week in Year 3 winding down towards Half Term. Birch and Cedar Classes enjoyed their trip to the Barking Park doing lots of exciting activities, such as finding colourful plants or making woodland cocktails.

In Literacy, pupils have completed their own creative stories. We have also begun analysing free verse poems and discussed their features.

In Maths, we have been revising our well-known multiplication facts. We have been also looking at the relationship between multiplication and division.

We have been exploring the Easter story this week and children enjoyed making their own Easter Spinner.

The teachers were impressed with all those beautifully decorated eggs which children prepared for Easter Egg Competition. We had extremely difficult decisions to make because all the eggs were absolutely amazing, however we had to choose the winners. They are listed below:

3 Cedar – Amy Myler

3 Birch – Sophie Phillips

3 Chestnut – Isabella Rowe

3 Aspen – Besma Idris

Congratulations Girls!

We would like to let you know that all the songs, the children will sing in our Stone Age Play, are now on the website so they can practise them any time they want!

We wish you a happy and safe Half Term.
