For everyone

  • There may be some clashes on the schedule, we are a large school and we have tried to minimise these.  We will continue to review the schedules.
  • Class teachers are taking a daily register of children accessing Google Classroom.  Follow up phone calls will be made to those who have difficulties accessing Google Classroom to offer support.
  • Teachers will provide feedback on two pieces of work 'turned in/submitted' per week per child.
  • Teachers will have clearly marked their PPA time (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) on their class schedule.  Teachers are not available during these slots.
  • A Google Classroom help and support webpage has been set up on the school website. Go to the Parents tab. Then Google Classroom. https://www.graftonprimary.co.uk/page/?title=google+classroom&pid=2297&action=saved
  • Please remember that class teachers are on a rota and are still teaching in school so may not be able to respond to all messages and work submitted on the day they receive messages.
  • Parents, please do not log onto Google Classroom using your own Google accounts.  Teachers will not admit parents to Google Meet sessions.  You must use your child's email address and password to join Google Meets.
  • Can we kindly request that parents/carers do not comment on the Gooogle Classroom 'stream' and contact your child's class teacher through Weduc or the year group email addresses.
  • We understand fully that some families cannot follow the schedules provided.  Home Learning for each day will be released from 9 am each morning to allow families to work at a speed that works for them.
  • Children can complete home learning in the evenings and outside of the scheduled time.  All families are different and we understand this.
  • Please inform your child's class teacher via a Weduc message or email if your family is having difficulties with the schedules.
