online home learning

Dear parents and carers,

As you can appreciate the situation has changed rapidly over the last number of days.  School staff has had to make last-minute changes to open the school for key worker and vulnerable children only.  Teachers will therefore need today to plan home learning for the school website.  We ask that today your child/children access other online platforms such as Epic Reading, Mathletics, and Timestables Rockstars.  If you require any logins or passwords you can email the year group email addresses or message your child's class teacher directly on WEDUC.  Please be aware a number of teachers are in class teaching so many not be able to respond to messages immediately.

Home learning will be posted for all year groups on the class pages of the school website on Wednesday 6th January. Home learning is based on the teaching and learning that the children would be receiving in class with many of the activities being the same wherever possible. Over the course of the week, we ask that the children complete as many of the home learning tasks as possible.

Any home learning that has been completed can be emailed to your child's class teacher using the year group email addresses at the top of the home learning pages on the school website.  Alternatively, you can post photographs on the newsfeed of the school app WEDUC.

If your child is in school every day (key worker or vulnerable child) there is no need to complete the home learning.

Kind regards
