whole school tapestry
We decided to choose a lockdown memory to create a whole school tapestry. Each square represents either something the children want to remember or something they want to forget about the pandemic. This project allowed us to use creativity to externalise our worries. Have a look at the amazing displays in school that were created. Well done everyone! Thank you to Mrs Misiri our Thrive Lead teacher and Miss Oban our art teacher for all their hard work organising this fantastic project.
Education must develop every child’s personality, talents and abilities to the full. It must encourage the child’s respect for human rights, as well as respect for their parents, their own and other cultures, and the environment.
Every child has the right to a standard of living that is good enough to meet their physical, social and mental needs. Governments must help families who cannot afford to provide this.
