Week 7-

Year 6 have enjoyed another great week. There has been plenty of hard work and lots of fun in our lessons as we approach the end of term.

In literacy, we have been writing our final piece of work in our Macbeth lessons. We have been predicting the end of the story and some of the children have mad very good guesses. We have also been describing our own settings using all of the skills that we have been learning about.

I'm Maths, the children have been thinking about problem solving and using our skills to solve some tricky problems.

In Topic, we have started to think about our end of topic, with a focus on the end of WW2. The children have been planning and writing their own speeches after listening to Winston Churchill's famous words after the Nazis had surrendered.

Next week is our last week of term and we have our Christmas Party on Thursday.

Have a lovely weekend.
