Week 6
Week 6 of the half term has been another action packed week.
In Literacy, we have continued to look at Macbeth. We have been looking at instructional writing and the children have used the features to create their own recipes.
In Maths, we have moved on to looking at converting g into kg. This is a tricky area but the children have really applied themselves this week. Next week we will start to look at time.
In Topic, we have started to look at the end of WW2 and the children have started to think about writing their own 'end of war' speeches. In DT we have been designing and making our own Air Raid shelters and the children have great fun creating their own designs.
On Friday, the children were very lucky to have a pantomime visit the school in the afternoon. All of the children had an amazing time and got really involved in the performance of Dick Whittington
Some reminders for next week:
Tuesday: Christmas Jumper day.
Tuesday: Christmas Fayre
Thursday: school closed due to the General Election
We hope everyone has a fantastic weekend.
