This week, in Year 6, we have started reading a new text in Literacy. The children have been learning about William Shakespeare and we have begun to start reading the story of 'Macbeth'. The children made some interesting predictions about what the text could be about. We then read on and discussed the moral dilemma that Macbeth faced about whether to kill King Duncan or not. We created conscience alley to help step into the role of Macbeth.

In Maths, we have been learning about coordinates. We have been reading and plotting coordinates onto 4 quadrants. The children were then translating and reflecting shapes.

In Science, we have continued with our new Science topic about the circulatory system. We have looked at the muscular, skeletal and digestive systems to recap what the children already know.

Just a reminder, the pantomime and Thriftwood letters were sent out this week.

Have a lovely weekend,

The year 6 team.
