This week in Literacy, Year 6 have been learning how to use inverted commas (speech marks) correctly. Then, the children had a go at writing their own spooooky dialogue. In addition to this, the children have been exploring the film  of 'Goodnight Mr. Tom' and comparing it to what they imagined, whilst reading the text.

In Maths, we have started work on coordinates across four quadrants and translating 2-D shapes.

Can you work out the coordinates of these shapes?

This half term, the children have started a new unit in Science called 'Animals-including Humans'. The children were keen to share what they already know and what they would like to find out.

This week, trip letters went out about our residential trip to Thriftwood on Wednesday 25th June to Friday 27th June. If you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to ask a Year 6 member of staff.

Have a lovely weekend.
