Year 6 News
Friday 23rd June
We have had another busy week in Year 6. This week the children had an Islamic Art workshop. The children used a compass to create circular patterns which then involved creating stars and triangles too. We have some very talented artists in our year group and the work they produced was excellent.
In Literacy, we discussed what would happen if we became stranded on a desert island. We were able to explore how we might be able to use everyday objects to help us survive. We also had to write a message in a bottle asking for help being rescued. Additionally a map was created to show our location.
Please can we have the consent forms for our Clacton trip back to the office as soon as possoble.
Have a lovely weekend!
The Year 6 team.
