Year 6 News
Friday 7th April 2017
We have had an enjoyable final week of term in school. We have continued to work on many areas across the curriculum in order to prepare the children for their upcoming SATs. We are extremely proud of how hard the children have worked over the past term and we hope they manage to rest over the holiday period.
On the first week back, the children will be having a mock SATs week in order to prepare for the real SATS week, which commences on the 8th May. Each day that week the children will take a different practice test. We believe this allows the children to experience what it will be like for them and hopefully reassure them and ease any nerves they may have. If you have any concerns or questions then please speak to one of the year 6 team.
A reminder that next week Easter SATs sessions start at 9am until 1pm. We have told the children to arrive at 8.45am-8.50am. They don't need to wear school uniform and they can bring some snacks for the morning if they like. Please no chocolates, sweets or crisps though.
The year 6 team would like to wish you an enjoyable holiday and thank you for your continued support.
