Friday 13th December 2019
In English this week we planned and began writing our own newspaper report about the Nepal earthquake of 2015. Next week we will be re-reading what we have written and looking at how we can improve our writing by editing.
During our maths sessions this week we looked at fractions. We began learning to find fractions of amounts using our multiplication and division facts. We will continue our learning next week. Click here to find out more about the method we used.
We created awareness posters in our science lesson for endangered animals. It was important to include key information and pictures to ensure our audience know why our chosen endangered species are endangered and more importantly what we can do to stop the problem getting worse. The children thoroughly enjoyed learning about endangered animals and the environment.
