Just a reminder, it's Roman Day in Year 4 on Monday, 15th October. Children can dress up as a Roman citizen, soldier, emperor or god/ goddess. Children need to wear sensible footwear for the day please. On Monday, children will make a Roman pitta as part of our Design and Technology learning, they will also take part in athletics, make a mosaic and a group task to show their learning from this half-term's topic of the Roman Empire and its impact on Britain. Please advise class teachers of any food allergies please.

In English, the children have edited and written their own stories with a historical setting of Pompeii. The children have produced some amazing stories, you will be able to read these at the Open Evening on Thursday.  In Maths, the children have identified lines of symmetry in 2D shapes and reflected shapes too.
We look forward to seeing you on Thursday.
