Friday 13th October 2017

We have had a very busy week in Year 4, leading up to our very exciting 'Roman Day' which took place today. The children have had a fun-filled day which consisted of making Roman food (pittas with a variety of fillings), making Roman mosaics and also taking part in some Roman athletics, such as Javelin and Shot Put. The children also got the chance to use our 'NowPressPlay' headphones, which took them through an exciting Roman adventure. It was wonderful to see so many children dressed up in their Roman costumes; thank you very much to all the parents and carers for your support.

Next week we will be coming to the end of our first half term. Please remember that children finish on Thursday 19th October at 3.20pm. On Thursday evening, we are holding our Parents Evening, when you will get the opportunity to meet your child's new teacher. Please don't forget to send your letter back to book your appointment time. You will also be able to visit our Spanish Cafe and Bookfair during the evening.

Wishing you a safe, relaxing and enjoyable weekend.
