It was an absolute pleasure last night to attend the Young Voices event at the O2 arena. Thirty six of our children joined other schools from around the country to be part of a choir with over seven thousand members. The whole event was a tremendous success and all of our children behaved impeccably throughout the whole day. We would like to remind everyone that our second Meet the Teacher Evening for this academic year takes places on Tuesday 12th February. We would also like to remind everyone about the importance of all children attending school whenever possible and being on time for school at all times.
We have received a number of complaints recently regarding the way people are parking around our school before the start of the school day and at the end of the school day. We would like to politely ask everyone to please consider our local residents during these times. Thank you again for your continued support and please have an enjoyable and restful weekend.
We are delighted to inform all parents/carers that our new Grafton Primary School app is now available to download. Please download the new app by following the instructions below

Whole school attendance this week is 96.10% Remember that you have to come to school every day to achieve 100% attendance. Grafton Primary School has adopted Local Authority procedures and DONOT authorise holidays during term time. Parents will be issued with a Fixed Penalty Notice Fine of £60 per parent per child for all holidays taken during the term. If you need to discuss this, please contact Mrs Chappell for clarification
We have successfully sought judgements (CCJs) against those parents that owe substantial amounts to the school, for unpaid school meals. This means that the school will no longer be carrying those debts, and will be able to use those funds appropriately.
Also, thank you to those of you that manage your child's account and keep your child's account in credit.
