Today we learnt about St. Patrick’s Day, which is celebrated on 17th March each year.  In Ireland, St. Patrick’s Day is both a holy day and a national holiday.  St. Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland, as he was the one who brought Christianity to the Irish.  We watched traditional Irish dancing, listened to Irish music and made St. Patrick's Day cards.

We had many books left over from the book sale, which have been kindly donated, to our book box for playtime – thank you!  The Faith and Friendship Ambassadors will be outside with the book box and some games each playtime, please come and join us if you have nobody to play with.
